App Updates - IE9 vs Chrome

Installed IE9 RC on my Win 7 Laptop. I had to uninstall IE9 Beta first, restart Windows, then run the IE9 RC installer and restart Windows again. When I compare this to how easily Chrome updates, I know why it is winning.
